Day 2: Over to Keenan to visit where Jed at Greenhill used to work

At Jarvis - a crazy fancy place we were lucky enough to get a reservation at through some friends

Day 3: looking out across the vines of southern Sonoma Valley

We kill some time in the morning checking out the Buena Vista Winery - the birthplace of CA wine!

They have a bunch of stuffed peacocks as wine ambassadors around the place. Odd but informative.

This place was great - cheap but ok wine (why not?) and super-kitchy to the point of laughably over-the-top. Great fun because it's not packed with tourists - I imagine it's horrible in the summer.

This peacock is "Chardonnay".
